The Licensee may exhibit the Program via closed circuit television and/or
LAN within the facilities of their Organization. The Licensee may
exhibit the Program to their students, employees, and/or general
public in their immediate service area. Permission is granted to
charge an admission fee, if desired. A Non-Educational Organization
may exhibit the Program only to its employees. Employees of the
Licensee, whether Educational or non-Educational, do not have the
right to distribute passwords which protect streaming videos on the
STARLINK web site to persons outside the Licensing Organization. In
no event shall the program be exhibited without the complete
copyright notices and credits contained herein.
2.
Licensee shall have the right to make and retain recorded copies of the
Program for playback/audiovisual use solely by licensee employees
within its facilities for training and/or educational purposes. Use
of the Program must be in the Program’s original format. Program
may not be edited or altered by Organization without written consent
of STARLINK.
3.
Licensee shall receive a complete set of printed materials for use in
connection with the Program. Licensee shall have the right to
reproduce the printed materials for use solely in connection with
authorized use of the Program.
4.
Licensee may arrange for transmission of the Program on a non-pay cable
access channel within its immediate geographic area, provided that
such transmission takes place no sooner than one week following
release of the program.
5.
Licensee shall not duplicate, sell, rent, or part with possession of the
recorded copy of the Program or derogate from any rights granted
herein. STARLINK programs, DVDs, videotapes, and streaming videos
are copyrighted and intended solely for use by employees of member
and licensed institutions. Use by any other individual or
organization is prohibited by law unless written consent is obtained
from STARLINK.
6.
The STARLINK Network and its personnel shall not be liable for failure to
deliver Programs due to circumstances beyond their control.
7.
CANCELLATION POLICY: Organization may cancel License by notifying
STARLINK in writing seven working days prior to release of the
Program. Organization shall remit a $40 administrative charge in
the event of cancellation. License fees, as specified herein, are
due in full if Organization fails to notify STARLINK in writing of
cancellation at least seven working days prior to the program
release.
8.
A network license is required for multiple sites within an organization.
