Career Clusters: A Foundation for Workforce Curricula

Showing: Jan. 23, 2012 - Feb. 07, 2012

Presenters: Karen Alexander | Catherine O'Brien | Garry Tomerlin | Joyce Williams

Career clusters are groups of similar occupations and industries. They were developed by the U.S. Department of Education as a way to organize career planning.  This program will look at how the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board, through it's Carl Perkins Leadership Grants, and the Texas Education Agency, through Achieve Texas, are using the 16 Career Clusters to develop curricula.
