Presenters Include: Curtis J. Bonk
- Dr. Bonk has received the Most Outstanding Achievement Award from the U.S.
Distance Learning Association, and the Most Innovative Teaching in Distance
Education Program Award from the State of Indiana. He is author of over
100 publications. Terry Morris - Terry Morris is an Associate Professor at William
Rainey Harper College. She has taught web development, e-commerce, programming,
database, and instructional technology courses. Terry has also developed and
taught professional development workshops for the faculty at Harper College. Deepa Godambe - Dr. Godambe is the winner of the Glenn Reich Award for
the effective use of technology in Teaching and Learning. She is known
nationally as a pioneer in the blended course delivery method. Professor Peter J. Shea - Dr. Shea is with the Department of
Educational Theory and Practice Department of Informatics at the State
University of New York-Albany. he is a recipient of several awards
including the EDUCAUSE Award for Systemic Progress in Teaching and Learning and
the Sloan Consortium Award for Excellence in Faculty Development. Dr. Shea
is also co-author of "The Successful Distance Learning Student." Alexandra M. Pickett - Under her leadership in 2001 SLN was honored to
receive the first Sloan Consortium Award for Excellence in ALN Faculty
Development, and the Educause award for Progress in Teaching and Learning.
Most recently SLN was honored with the 2006 USDLA 21st Century Award for Best
Practices in Distance Learning.
